Join us in 2021 on the beautiful campus of St. Olaf College, in the lovely small town of Northfield for three days of connection, workshops, and in-depth conversations.
Updated March 30, 2020
As we navigate new challenges and layers of uncertainty — for ourselves, our organizations, and our community — it feels important to put something on the calendar that we can count on together. With the evolving needs of our statewide community in mind, we’ve decided to postpone MTASTC until 2021.
MTASTC … now in 2021!
St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN
While we are grieving the loss of this event this summer, we are very grateful to be able to plan ahead to host everyone next summer in Northfield. We know that a gathering in 2021 will be very important to our statewide performing arts community.
In the meantime, we are continuing to find ways to connect and serve the community over the next several months including organizing online gatherings, sharing resources, planning audience development initiatives, and supporting each other through this challenging time.
A huge thank you to our amazing MTASTC Task Force, including our co-chairs Kelli Foster Warder and Ashlee Hartwig. We very much look forward to being together again soon.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Minnesota Theater Alliance Statewide Theater Conference (MTASTC) is an annual gathering of performing arts leaders, practitioners, artists, and volunteers from across the state that provides space for learning, conversation, celebration, and connection.
MTASTC attendees reflect a broad range of Minnesotas performing arts individuals and organizations including various budget sizes (from <$10K to $15 million+ annually), models (professional, community, presenting, educational, and hybrids), types (theater, comedy, opera, musical theater, improv, storytelling, and dance), and community sizes (rural, remote, urban, and suburban.)
Please join us for workshops, keynotes, conversations, and camaraderie! This conference is an opportunity for the Minnesota performing arts community to learn from and with each other.
